The High School has been named a 2024-2025 School of Distinction by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. The School of Distinction status requires that 100% of the school’s varsity teams receive the association’s Scholar-Athlete Team Award in which 75% of the team’s players have acquired a grade Point average equal to or greater than 90%.

This award stands as a direct reflection of our students' exemplary commitment to both athletic and academic excellence.” Debra Ferry, director of P.E, health and athletics, said. “We extend our sincere appreciation to NYSPHSAA for maintaining this vital program, which appropriately recognizes the holistic success of our student-athletes.”
