District Revels in Halloween Spirit

Halloween spirit filled the halls of the district’s schools as students, faculty and staff celebrated the holiday with festive and creative activities.
Some of the faculty and staff dressed according to theme, such as Albert G. Prodell Middle School’s “A League of Their Own.” Miller Avenue office staff and Principal Claudia Smith dressed as different variations of the character Elphaba of “Wicked,” to the delight of elementary students.
Also at Miller Avenue School, students greatly enjoyed the Spooky Hallway, accented with orange lights, creepy characters and tombstones. Additionally, each class gathered in the school parking lot for the annual Halloween parade while family members cheered for each student’s creativity, reinforcing the school’s strong sense of community spirit.
