Students' Capstone Research Brings VetDogs to Life in the Classroom

On Tuesday, March 24th, Mrs. Danielle Senneca's IMPACT class had the incredible pleasure of welcoming a representative from America's VetDogs! A huge thank you to Cristina Mirabile and Annie (the service dog) for their incredible and informative visit - it was truly a memorable experience for everyone!
This visit grew directly out of our students' Capstone project research on Mental Health. Their curiosity and dedication to the topic led them to explore the incredible work the Guide Dog Foundation does - and seeing that learning come to life in the classroom was absolutely wonderful.
During the visit, Cristina gave students an overview of the VetDogs and its mission, followed by a live demonstration for the class. It was a meaningful and unforgettable experience for all!
