In place of Miller Avenue School’s usual Wildcats With Character assembly in December, students lined the hallways for December 22 for a celebratory parade to congratulate students being recognized for demonstrating integrity. As the students marched down the hallways, holding their well-earned certificates, their peers applauded. There were also a couple of unexpected guests, namely the Gingerbread Man and Santa.
It was a recognition ceremony that the students will not soon forget.
