Board of Education Meeting

Tuesday, October 14, 2025
 

Highlights:

  • The BOE conducted a walk-through of the Middle School focusing on completed and works in progress as well as added security features throughout the building.
  • Reilly Kenneally, Gianna Ruggero and Ray Hidaka, Ex-Officio Student Trustees, gave updates on High School happenings, sports, and upcoming events.
  • In his Superintendent's Report, Mr. Poole highlighted some of the many events, activities, and accomplishments taking place throughout the District and specific to each building.
  • The Middle School Student Council presented on their club, highlighting homecoming, Unity Day, the upcoming Halloween dance, and Red Ribbon week.
  • All four schools collaborated on a presentation to recognize the Board during National School Board Recognition Week.
  • Mr. Vann gave his Middle School update highlighting IMPACT, the music program, field trips, and awards. Ms. Biscardi spoke about assemblies and the Wildcats with Character program.
  • Dan Losquadro, Superintendent of Highways, presented on Randall Road safety. Mr. Losquadro shared plans to add turning lanes and a stoplight at the entrance to the Middle School. The District will need to dedicate a portion of land along the roadway to support the project.
  • The Board approved, among other things, the Washington DC field trip and Girls' Flag Football coaching positions.
