Ex- Officio Student Trustees, Ray Hidaka, Reilly Kenneally, Gianna Ruggero, Ella Frazzetto, Isabelle Scherl and Maddie Cummings gave updates on their post graduate plans. They were recognized by the Board for their time spent this year as Ex-Officio Trustees.
In his Superintendent Report, Mr. Poole highlighted some of the many events, activities, and accomplishments taking place throughout the District and specific to each building.
Ms. Waldbauer recognized students who participated in the America’s 250 Field Trip Contest, LILAC and Walt Whitman Writing Contest, Emily Ingrassia’s published poetry, and Seal of Bi-Literacy and Civic Readiness Awards.
Mr. Pugliese recognized two Girl Scout Gold Award recipients and one Eagle Scout Award recipient, AP Scholars, Scholar Seniors, Valedictorians and Salutatorian Awards.
Ms. Ferry recognized all the spring athletes both academically and athletically. Special recognition was given to the Girls Varsity Flag Football team and their 2nd place in States.

Ms. O’Connor recognized that the Tri-M Chapter at Shoreham-Wading River High School was awarded Chapter of the Year nationally.
The Board approved a First Reading of several policies, including updates to the Code of Conduct.
