Message from the Principal

Welcome to Wading River's Home on the Web.  This year offers our students a historic and wonderful adventure, filled with rich learning experiences. There is so much to highlight, from learning about how caterpillars transform into butterflies to making new discoveries every day by unlocking the mysteries of reading, mathematical reasoning, and scientific exploration; our youngsters grow so much. All the while, they will write and publish stories, learning how to articulate and expand their thoughts, ideas, and insights with the world.

I appreciate all the time, effort and sharing the teachers, parents, community and students have given to make Wading River such a warm place to learn. A special thank you to our PTA for their generosity in the many ways they volunteer their time and talents for our students.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the teaching and learning at Wading River School. I wish you and your family a year filled with new experiences, family, friends, and learning opportunities that will be used as a springboard for success throughout your child's lifetime.
