The Prodell Music Department and students in grades 7 and 8 band, chorus and orchestra visited New York City on May 17. The students participated in an interactive Q&A with Broadway Imagined, which featured performing artists Mary Kate Morrissey from “Wicked,” Adam Levy from “Moulin Rouge” and Broadway music director Adam Laird.

“The students were thrilled to be able to hear about the life of a Broadway performer and ask questions about their lives, careers and music,” music teacher Mr. Fred Volz said. After the workshop, the students saw “Wicked” on Broadway. Mr. Volz chaperoned the trip with music teachers Mr. James Finnerty and Mr. John Samonte.
