What do Flounder, Sebastian and King Triton have in common?

“The Little Mermaid” characters played a large part in the festivities for Miller Avenue School and Wading River School’s Pick a Reading Partner Week theme of "Under the Sea.”

Students were encouraged to dive deep into books in the annual event that promotes the importance of reading together. Their literary journey included an interactive and spirited assembly program with lots of laughter on May 16.

Thanks to our PTA members, teachers and parents for encouraging reading as a fun and engaging activity.
