Sharing a Love of Theater at SWR

Students Acting on Stage thumbnail248811

Dozens of Shoreham-Wading River School District students are enhancing their social, public-speaking, acting, dancing and stage skills with a fun and frolicking summer theater community program headed by Paula Albert-Franz and directed by Ariana Franz.

The young thespians have been working on “Singing in the Rainforest,” (grades K-3) Disney’s “Frozen, Kids” (grades 3-6) and Disney’s “High School Musical, Jr.” (grades 5-10). Students learn, rehearse and conduct these age-appropriate theatrical performances during the last week of the lively and educational camps. The students who are not on stage are engaged in scenery creation, costume design and more.
