Thanks to our Wading River School students, staff and generous PTA members for the warm welcome for Miller Avenue School’s second graders! The Grade 2 orientation on May 15 began with a welcome from music teacher Christina Meli and band students as the second graders arrived off the busses. Music teacher Erin Fasano also led students in a performance to share the excitement the second graders will experience when they get to select an instrument to play as third graders. The younger students toured the school, main office, nurse’s office, cafeteria, gymnasium and classrooms and more to get a feel for what third grade will be like when they enter in September.
