Fifteen Shoreham-Wading River High School students and teachers Maryanne Agius and Meredith Barron joined members of the Sol y Sombra Spanish Dance Company on stage for a National Foreign Language Week performance.

The dancers showed examples of flamenco, cumbia, merengue and more.  Then they invited the upper-level Spanish classes to get on stage and participate. Andrew Brennan, Jack Como, Cole Fernández, George Greene, Mackenzie Greene, Abby Haverty, Kerrin McGuire, Jaiden Montes, Damian Perez, Hailey Petruzzi, Sky Reikert, Isabelle Scherl, Kyle Schiff, Forrest Tepfenhardt and Ava Weingartner enjoyed following the choreographer using dances from the Latin American dance styles.
