Miller Avenue School K-2 students learned some exciting new coding challenges using Indi robot vehicles.
Library Media Specialist Brittany LaValle and Eastern Suffolk BOCES Models School Coach Carrie McGuire worked with the students in the library to supplement their computer science skills. The engaging activity challenged the young scientists to complete a code sequence to create a square path around a classmate and – a more advanced level – to complete a code sequence to create an infinite loop.
The activities encouraged collaborating, problem-solving and computational thinking skills among the students.
