The talents of all those involved in Shoreham-Wading River’s Unified Productions Summer Theater Program have done it again. Students Anthony Belvedere, Andrew Brennan, Maddie Cummings, Jake Donnelly, Lila Grosso, Emmie Ingrassia, Bella Nobre, Michela Nobre, Hailey Petruzzi, Connor Prunty, Maeve Prunty, Sky Riekert, Molly Stankus and Charlie Tacke put on an inspiring and standout stage performance of “High School Musical (Ish),” to a standing ovation, on the Shoreham-Wading River High School stage.

Andrew Brennan and Hailey Petruzzi played the leads of star Wildcat athlete

Troy and bookish beauty Gabriella. Together they audition for the upcoming school musical, while envious Sharpay (played by Bella Nobre) conspires to crush their chances. The two work hard to make it to auditions while also meeting their existing obligations to the basketball team and the academic decathlon.

The show, directed by Maryann Agius, was introduced with a special Lego animation video by Andrew Brennan. A special thank-you goes to Natalie Cortina who helped all summer during rehearsals. Assistant directors were Caitlin Gould, Mary Hygom and Matthew Millheiser. Video, lighting and sound were coordinated by Ricky Bottenus, Leah Carberry, Ashley Miltz, Emily Miltz and Henry Wyzomierski.
