Congratulations to Wading River School’s Mia Horsford who was named “Principal for a Day” where she had the opportunity to jump into being the principal of Wading River School.

Mia took her responsibilities seriously as she met with Superintendent of Schools Mr. Poole, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Mr. Meinster, teachers, students, cafeteria workers, security guards, custodians and many more staff members.  Mia also reviewed the proposed budget for next year, discussed initiatives she would like to see at the school and read the “Book of the Month” to third grade students.
