Energy, strength and skill are what drive the Shoreham-Wading River girls soccer team. The team and coach Adrian Gilmore were lauded by Athletic Director Eric Bramoff at the Dec. 10 Board of Education meeting. The team were named Long Island champions after they defeated Wantagh on Nov. 10.

Team members Ella Nowaski, Johana Ochsenfeld and Shealyn Varbero were named All-League, Mia Mangano was named Suffolk County MVP and Olivia Pesso received the New York State Sportsmanship Award and the County Player of the Year award. Go Wildcats! #SWRPROUD
