As a result of their scholastic dedication and performance, 39 Shoreham-Wading River High School students have been recognized by the College Board as AP Scholars. They were congratulated at the Dec. 10 Board of Education meeting by Assistant Principal Mr. Jonathan Lilla.
The designation was given in recognition of each student’s demonstration of exceptional college-level achievement through their performance on national AP exams. Of the 39 students, 19 were named AP Scholars, six earned the recognition of AP Scholar with Honor and 14 were named as an AP Scholar with Distinction.
