The Shoreham-Wading River School District welcomed the incoming third grade class to Wading River School in a fun afternoon event on Aug. 28. The annual event started at 3:33 p.m. with a welcome and high-fives from Principal Lou Parrinello and a tour of the school and classrooms.

The new third graders were gifted with colorful T-shirts that represented their new teacher for the 2024-25 school year and served as an opportunity to meet others in their new class. Students walked out to the school playground to meet new friends and catch up with old friends while enjoying ice pops and sunshine.
